Hungary VS Netherlands 2024

On Monday July 22, Tuesday July 23 and Wednesday July 24, 2024 we are organizing the very first Den Hartog Racing trip abroad! We travel with a group of Dutch participants from our karting school to Budapest in Hungary to visit 3 beautiful karting tracks with you. Are you coming? View all information below.

What is Den Hartog Racing?

Den Hartog Racing is a karting school for children in the Netherlands. We provide karting lessons for our 500 members at 10 karting tracks throughout the country. We also organize races and scout the best drivers to join our talent team and battle in the Dutch championships at the highest level of rental karting. This makes us the largest karting school in the Netherlands and offers the most accessible way of karting as a sport in the Netherlands.

Hungary 2024: the format

The idea arose after we visited 7 karting tracks around Budapest last summer. We were so warmly welcomed here that we got the idea to repeat this next year with the youth members of our karting school in the Netherlands.

Monday July 22, Tuesday July 23 and Wednesday July 24 we will therefore visit one karting track every day to organize a Grand Prix in combination with a karting lesson on that karting track. On each karting track you will participate in training, qualifying and a race. Each race has a different format and/or has a different tactical element (such as a pit stop). We as kart trainers are there to support our members, but also you as Hungarian participants.

As a fanatic Hungarian karter, you are hereby invited to participate. We hope that in this way we can offer a unique experience with Dutch and Hungarian racers competing against each other.

The 3 races together also form a mini championship, will you be the champion?

What to expect?

About 10 karting sessions on 3 beautiful karting tracks around Budapest (2x outdoor, 1x indoor), of which we have already visited/tested 2 (the announcement of the karting tracks will follow at a later time)
Good Sodi karts
On each karting track you drive a karting lesson in combination with a Grand Prix: training, qualifying & race (each with a different format and/or tactical element)
Youth Dutch and Hungarian participants
Mini competition: you score points on each karting track
Trophies per race day and for the championship, a souvenir for everyone
Great experiences with other participants at unique locations

We are currently working on putting together the exact program, but it promises to be a true spectacle. We will keep participants informed of the exact program, but you can take this into account:

Important information

Minimum height: 1,45 meters
Costs: to be announced (for Hungarian drivers)

Cancellation policy: you can cancel your participation up to 1 month in advance. You will then receive the registration fee of € 199.00 in return. Are you canceling later? Then no refund will take place.
